How to create a New Facebook Account

• If you have an existing account, you will need to delete it before creating a new one. See Close the Old Account below before proceeding. Otherwise, continue to the next step.

• Go to the Facebook website. If you have an existing account, make sure you are logged out first. You will see this signup form:Fill it out completely, make sure all the information is accurate, then click the Sign Up button.

• Make a New Facebook Account

• Find your friends. Facebook will next ask you to search your various email accounts for friends. You are welcome to do this at this time, or click on Skip this step at the bottom, and continue with the sign-up process.

• Fill in profile information. Step 2 of the sign-up process is filling out basic profile info: High school, college, and employer. Again, you may choose to fill this out, or skip this step.

 

• Choose profile picture. Step 3 of the sign-up process is adding a profile picture. Now's your chance to shine to the world! Upload a photo from your computer, or take a photo with your web cam. However you do it, Facebook will take it. Of course, like the other steps, you can choose to skip this as well.

• Your new account is ready! 
• Remember—don't forget to like us!

Tips

1. The first thing you should do to your Facebook profile is adjust your privacy settings. This will help you gauge what you can get away with posting to your account.
2. If you are deleting an old account and starting a new is due to stalking or other untoward behavior of others, be strict with your privacy settings, at least at first.
3. It's a good idea to change your profile settings to prevent people you haven't confirmed as friends from accessing your profile. The link to privacy settings is at the top right of the page.

Warnings

1. Don't upload any pictures that you'll regret later. Anyone can save them and share them with people you dislike or do not know.
2. Be careful when providing personal details, even when you're giving them to your friends.
3. Don't add anyone you don't know. It could be some freak behind the computer.
4. Don't give your mobile number and personal details
5. Don't meet up with anyone you have met on Facebook.It may be very unsafe for you!
